1988 is year of change for the band. BOGART JOINT turned into BAD SISTER. BAD SISTER won Schleswig-Holstein-Rockfestival in September 1988 und took part
in German Rock Contest in Würzburg.
In July 1989 BAD SISTER
records „Heartbreaker“ at the
UAM-Studios in Lüneburg. Keyboarder
Kai Beyer
joins the band. Produced by Birger
Holm ("Call me
Quincy“) the music style of
the Debut-Album
varies between Melodic-Rock („Without
You“), AOR („Road To Nowhere“) and
Funk ("Raise It Up").
An extensive club-tour started in the beginning of 1990. Special highlight is the support of former Deep Purple-Shouter Ian Gillan at his „Naked Thunder“-tour. BAD SISTER is considered to be a furios live-act, with a lot of gigs and concerts all over the country.
